Artemis Mendrinos

I was born (23 February 1982) in Athens Greece, and lived there for the first 5 years of my life. My family moved to Liege, Belgium where I finished the 4th class of the primary school of Saint Barthélemy and at the age of 10 we returned back to Greece.

When I was in high school I used to work during my summer holidays in hotels in greek islands. I have worked for: Rose Bay Hotel in Santorini, Zante Park Hotel in Zakynthos, Kipriotis Village Resort in Kos, Miramare Beach Hotel and Ermones Hotel in Corfu. I think that except the tourism market related experience, I gained also memorable full-productive summers.

I moved to Larissa city, where I studied Computer Science and Telecommunications at Technological Educational Institute of Larissa.

I started up this blog in order to share with you my trips, what I saw and what I have learned. I mostly write posts under 2 categories (Trips, Web Technology). Under “Web Technology” I write mostly regarding new technologies I played with or seemed to be intersting to me.

One feature I have implemented by myself for this site is the banner. I have more than 40 banners with photos of me being somewhere in the world. These banners are loading randomly; each time the web page is being requested (refresh or navigating).
